The short version

MoneyFitApp never connects to your bank. You type your own numbers in, they belong to you, and we do not sell them, share them, or show you ads. That's the whole model: the only money we make is your subscription.

What we collect

When you create an account we collect your email address and the name you give us. When you use the app we store the financial figures you choose to enter — spending allocations, investment balances, loan details, retirement income plans. That is the full list.

We never ask for bank logins, and there is no bank feed, open banking connection, or screen scraping of any kind. If a screen ever asks you for banking credentials, it is not ours — close it and let us know.

What we never do

  • No bank account linking — ever
  • No selling or sharing of your data with anyone
  • No advertising and no advertising trackers
  • No profiling of your finances for any purpose other than showing you your own numbers

We use one measurement tool: Plausible Analytics. It is cookieless and anonymous — it counts page views and a handful of product events (things like “signed up” or “opened the upgrade screen”) so we can tell whether the product is working. It never receives your financial figures, your email address, or anything else that identifies you, and it sets no cookies. Plausible's own data policy is at plausible.io/data-policy.

Where your data lives

Your data is stored as a single file, private to your account, in Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud storage. To be upfront: that storage is currently in AWS's US East region, not in Australia. It is protected by per-account access controls and everything travels between your device and AWS over encrypted connections (HTTPS).

A copy is also cached in your browser's local storage so the app keeps working when you are offline. The cloud copy is the authoritative one and syncs across your devices.

Payments

Subscriptions are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. Your card or PayPal details go directly to them and never touch our systems — we only receive confirmation of your subscription status. Lemon Squeezy's own privacy policy is at lemonsqueezy.com/privacy.

Keeping and deleting your data

If your subscription ends, your data stays put — nothing is deleted, and you can still see it. Reactivate any time and pick up where you left off.

To delete your account and everything in it, email support@moneyfitapp.com from your account email address. Allow up to 3 business days for a response.
